> What is TSP02?
TSP02 is a unique polyester based film developed specifically for modern cooking applications. It is the first polyester food safe film to be specially formulated for manufacturing oven bags, and only used by Terinex for our LOOK brand which is available in over 40 countries.TSP02 is chemically resistant to oils, fats and greases, the film is suitable for cooking high fat foods such as duck and other high fat meats.
Why TSP02?
TSP02 film is specifically developed for modern ovens. Oven thermostats can often be unreliable by up to 30oC. Furthermore they can suffer from “hotspots” and power surges on initial heating of the oven. This means that traditional nylon and polyester bags may well be exposed to cooking conditions that could cause rapid degradation of the bags. TSP02 is a thermally stable polymer that will withstand 230oC for one and a half hours, even coping with the tougher environment within fan assisted ovens. Other films start to degrade earlier and at lower temperatures. This degradation is evident in the discolouration of the film and/or flaking and collapsing of the basic integrity of the film. TSP02 retains high gloss and transparency throughout the cooking process.
