For over 50 years Terinex have been manufacturing and supplying a wide range of catering essentials and is now a leading converter of films for food packaging, preservation and cooking

From our manufacturing bases in Bedford and Ripley Derbyshire Terinex is perfectly located to serve customers both in the UK and worldwide with quality products backed up by first-class service.

Quality is assured through comprehensive in-house quality controls and a range of independent quality accreditations including ISO9001 and British Retail Consortium (BRC) accreditation for consumer products. Terinex also recognise that we have a duty to care for our environment and to this end work to the internationally recognised Environmental Management system ISO14001.

History

1966
  • Company established in St. Alban’s by Bryan Ruskin, using polyester manufactured by ICI. He developed his first product – ‘Look’ Roasting Film. We have continued to use the brand name ‘Look’ for our oven bags and roasting film through to the present time.
1971
  • Relocated to Caxton Road, Bedford
1975
  • Terinex entered the catering disposables market and started to convert cling film and aluminium foil
1982
  • Relocated to present HQ at Hammond Road, Bedford
1990
  • Awarded BS EN ISO9001
2001
  • Awarded ISO 14001environmental accreditation
2004
  • Commenced tissue manufacture
2007
  • Terinex acquired by OGM Holdings Ltd
2007
  • Awarded BRC Consumer Product Accreditation
2011
  • Terinex becomes a Sedex member
2014
  • Terinex is CHSA accredited
2015
  • Terinex is FSA accredited
2016
  • Following a strategic review Terinex moves into the flexible printed film market and acquires QC Films Ltd – a successful printing company with over 20 years of printing experience
2016
  • Terinex QC Films spends over £1.5m on a new 8 colour HD printing press, laminator and slitter
